NOTICE
Of certain land in the town of Lawrence in the Province of Otago having been set apart as a reserve for an endowment for an Athenaeum and Mining Institute at Lawrence.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS it is expedient to set apart the lands hereinafter described for an endowment for an Athenaeum and Mining Institute at Lawrence: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for an endowment for an Athenaeum and Mining Institute at Lawrence (that is to say):-

Sections 1, 2, 6, 7, 11 and 23 all of block I, Beaumont district comprising 530a 2r and 5p.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Otago Waste Lands Act 1866," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Lawrence; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Lawrence (that is to say):-

Section 6 block LIII town of Lawrence containing by admeasurement 5a and 15p more or less.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Otago Waste Lands Act 1866," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a reserve for a market for the town of Lawrence; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for a Market for the town of Lawrence (that is to say):-

Block LXII, Town of Lawrence, containing by admeasurement two (2) acres and two (2) roods, more or less.

Of certain land in the Town of Naseby, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a reserve for recreation for the use of the Inhabitants of Naseby.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Otago Waste Lands Act 1866," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Naseby; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Naseby (that is to say):-

All that area containing by admeasurement three (3) acres and seventeen (17) poles, more or less, situate in the Town of Naseby, being section numbered fifteen (15), block two (II) on the map of the said town; bounded towards the north-west by Derwent street, eighty-four (84) links, and six hundred and thirty-six (636) links; towards the north-east by Crown Lands, two hundred and seventy-seven links; towards the east-north-east by Crown Lands and Rannoch street, four hundred and ten and five-tenths (410.5) links; towards the south-east by Crown Lands and section numbered sixteen (16), four hundred and sixty-one (461) links; and towards the south-west by Crown Lands, three hundred and thirty-three (333) links.

NOTICE
Of certain land in the Town of Cromwell in the Province of Otago having been set apart as a reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Cromwell.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Otago Waste Lands Act 1866," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Cromwell; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Cromwell (that is to say):-

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by admeasurement thirty (30) acres being section I, block XV, town of Cromwell bounded towards the north-north-east by the remainder of the town of Cromwell aforesaid one thousand (1000) links towards the east-south-east by the remainder of the town of Cromwell aforesaid three thousand one hundred (3100) links towards the south-south-west by the southern boundary of the said town of Cromwell one thousand (1000) links and towards the west-north-west by the western boundary of the said town of Cromwell three thousand one hundred (3100) links exclusive of water races reserves intersecting the said section; also all that other parcel of land in the Province of Otago containing by admeasurement thirty (30) acres more or less adjoining the area above described and being section 10 block I Cromwell district bounded towards the north-north-east by Crown lands one thousand (1000) links towards the east-south-east by section I block XV town of Cromwell three thousand one hundred (3100) links towards the south-south-west by Crown lands one thousand (1000) links and towards the west-north-west by Crown lands three thousand one hundred (3100) links exclusive of water races reserves intersecting the said section.
