WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have,
under and by virtue of Section 62 of the
"Otago Waste Lands Act 1866," recommended that
the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a
reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants
of Greytown; and it is expedient that the said lands
should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore
I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province
of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby
publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands
hereinafter described a reserve for recreation for the use
of the inhabitants of Greytown; (that is to say)
Block XIII, Greytown, containing by admeasurement seven (7) acres and thirty-three
(33) poles, more or less.
Dated at Dunedin, this fourteenth day of November,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

NOTICE
Of certain land in the Town of Outram, in the Province
of Otago, having been set apart as a site for a
Drill Shed, for the use of the Volunteers.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent
of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have,
under and by virtue of Section 62 of the
"Otago Waste Lands Act 1866," recommended that
the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a
site for a Drill Shed, and it is expedient that the said
lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now
therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the
Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish
and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands
hereinafter described a Reserve for a site for a Drill
Shed; (that is to say)β
Section 8, Block II, Town of Outram, containing by
admeasurement 1 rood, more or less.
Dated at Dunedin, this fourteenth day of November,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

public Pound at Outram.

reserve for a public Pound for the use of the inhabitants
of Outram, and it is expedient that the said lands
should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore
I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province
of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish
and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands
hereinafter described a reserve for a public Pound at
Outram (that is to say)
That section 8, block XV, town of Outram, containing
by admeasurement 2 roods and 20 poles, more or less.
Dated at Dunedin, this fourteenth day of November,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

Mining Institute at Lawrence.

of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have,
under and by virtue of Section 62 of the
"Otago Waste Lands Act 1866," recommended that
the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for
an endowment for an Athenaeum and Mining Institute
at Lawrence; and it is expedient that the said lands
should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore
I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province
of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby
publish and declare that I have made and dedicated
the lands hereinafter described a reserve as an
endowment for an Athenaeum and Mining Institute
at Lawrence.
That section 29, block VII, Maungatua Survey District,
one thousand five hundred and fifty (1550) links, and again towards the north-west by
section 32, block VII, Maungatua Survey District aforesaid,
one thousand five hundred (1500) links, and intersected by two road lines, each one
hundred (100) links wide.
Dated at Dunedin, this fourteenth day of November,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.
