All that area being part of block XII Hawksbury survey district comprising about 2800 acres bounded on the north by blocks IX and X and section 13 block XI, Hawksbury survey district towards the east by surveyed sections in block XI, and towards the south and west by the Waikouaiti river.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Otago Waste Lands Act 1866" recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as an Endowment for an Athenaeum at Milton; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve for an Endowment for an Athenaeum at Milton; (that is to say)—
Sections 2 of 7, 9, and 1 of 11, block I, Akatore District, containing by admeasurement 339 acres, 3 roods, 19 poles, more or less.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 62 of the "Otago Waste Lands Act 1866" recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for police purposes; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now, therefore, I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for police purposes (that is to say)—
Section 7, block II, township of Waipori, containing by admeasurement three (3) roods and (25) poles more or less.

Section 17, block 6, Georgetown, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less.
