BONUS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A GLASS BOTTLE MANUFACTORY.
THE Provincial Government being desirous of encouraging the manufacture of Glass Bottles in Otago, is prepared to receive offers from parties willing to embark in the enterprise, and is further prepared to pay a bonus of £300, as under:—
On the erection of building and plant, of a value of not less than £500—£100.
On production of 100 gross of bottles—£100.
On production of a further quantity of 200 gross—£100.
Offers will be received at the Provincial Government Offices, Dunedin, and should state the estimated cost of the works proposed to be erected, the date on which the same will be in operation, and that the parties are prepared to be bound in the sum of £250 to produce 500 gross of Bottles within two years from the date on which the tender is accepted.
The Government does not bind itself to accept any offer.
INCENDIARISM.
Maliciously setting Fire to Two Stacks of Oats.
£100 Reward.
WHEREAS, about 8 o’clock on the night of Tuesday, the 27th ultimo, Two Stacks of Oats, on the farm of Murdoch M’Lellan, Tokomairiro, containing about 2000 bushels, value £200, were both discovered to be on fire at the same time, although about 20 feet apart: And whereas there is reason to suspect that the said fire was maliciously caused by some evil disposed person or persons. Notice is hereby given, that a reward of £100 will be paid by the Provincial Government of Otago, for such information as will lead to the conviction of the person or persons by whom the said fire was originated.

WHEREAS on the morning of Wednesday, the 24th ultimo, a fire broke out in the unoccupied
I, __, of __, do hereby solemnly declare, to the best of my knowledge and belief, that the above is a correct return of the acreage occupied (or owned), of the land unenclosed, and of the stock owned by me (or under my charge) and which were actually depasturing (or, whilst I desire to depasture) on the Hundred on (or after) the day of , 187; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true in every respect.
