IMMIGRATION MONEY.—Assisted Immigrants by the Ships which arrived during 1869, 1870, and 1871, are requested to forward to John Logan, Immigration Agent, Dunedin, the amount of their Passage Money. Proceedings will be taken to recover in all cases of non-payment without further notice.


NOTICE to Parents and Guardians of Pupils attending Green Island School.—The School Committee hereby notify to all whom it may concern, that Mr Adam Rae is no longer authorised to receive or collect school fees for this School Committee.—William Martin, Chairman. Green Island, 15th October, 1872.


PARENTS and Guardians of Children attending Green Island District School are hereby notified that all school fees for the quarters ending September and December, which may be unpaid at this date, must be paid to Mr Thomas King, Clerk and Treasurer to this Committee, and from this date his receipt only will be valid.—William Martin, Chairman. SMALL RUN FOR SALE, MONDAY, 2nd December, 1872.

OBJECTIONS having been lodged to granting a pastoral lease of Run 446 to the present applicant, it is hereby notified that the lease will be sold by auction on the above date on the usual terms. The Run contains about 1,600 acres, and the estimated carrying capacity will be published at an early date. It is situated near the head of the Tautuku River, near Waikawa.

DEPASTURAGE IN HUNDREDS.

THE “Otago Waste Lands Act 1872,” having passed into law, Owners or Occupiers of Land within Hundreds are informed that the Return of Acreage occupied, and Cattle desired to be Depastured, must be furnished to the Waste Land Board, and a Depasturing License taken out on or before the 1st December, 1872, (not the 1st January, as heretofore;) in order to obtain the privilege of Depasturing Cattle on the Hundreds during the year 1873, and to give a right to vote at the election of Wardens. The License Fee is 2s. 6d. Forms and Licenses may be obtained from the Rangers and from this Office.
