NOTICE.

Otago Roads Ordinance 1871.

HIS Honor the Deputy-Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has, under the powers conferred on him by the 119th section of the above-mentioned Ordinance appointed Messrs. Arthur Gerard, David M’Laghlan, and Michael Devany, Members of the Aparima Road Board, the sufficient number of members for the said district, required by the said Ordinance, not having been elected at the first general election held for the said district after the first constitution thereof under the said Ordinance.

of Impounding Notices:—
1st November, Friday, noon, 2 fillies, 1 gelding, 1 mare, 6 steers, 1 cow, 1 bullock, and 1 heifer will be held at Clyde Pound.

PAYMENT TO BE MADE IN LAND OR CASH AT OPTION OF THE GOVERNMENT.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 12th November, 1872, for Contract No. 633—Construction of Timber Bridge over the Shotover River, near Arthur’s Point. Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works tender for Contract No. 663.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 12th November, 1872, for Contract No. 681—Construction of 86 chains of road, Arthurs Point to Arrowtown. Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Queenstown.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works tender for Contract No. 681.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 29th October, 1872, for Contract No. 682—Forming, pitching and gravelling portions of road, Palmerston to Oamaru, situate between the Kakanui River and the Waireka stream, in length about 170 chains. Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Police Camp, Oamaru.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works tender for Contract No. 682.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Tuesday, 29th October, 1872, for Contract No. 685—Supply of timber for repairs of Jetty at the mouth of the Taieri River. Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the offices of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at Toll-gate, East Taieri Bridge.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works tender for Contract No. 685.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
