FENCING.--Tenders will be received at the Provincial Government Offices until Friday, 4th October, 1872, for the supply of 1200 Goa or Totara Posts, and 400 Maple Rails, to be delivered on the Reclaimed Ground, near the Goal.

For particulars apply to the Government Storekeeper.


SEASIDE Road Board.--Tenders required for Embanking north end of Taylor’s Creek Bridge. Plans, &c., can be seen with the Chairman, Mr. Howorth, or Mr. Graham, Taylor’s Creek. The Board do not bind themselves to accept the lowest or any tender. Tenders to be sent not later than the 21st day of October next, addressed to—Thomas Howorth, Chairman.


WANTED, a Teacher for the Side School, Sandymount. Salary—Government subsidy and school fees. Applications to be lodged at the Education Office on or before the 7th of October.


WANTED, a qualified Schoolmaster for the Cromwell School. Salary: £200 per annum. A good four-roomed residence and 3-acre of garden attached. Full information can be obtained by applying to the Chairman of the School Committee, Cromwell, or at the Education Office, Dunedin. Applications to be lodged with the Chairman of the School Committee, on or before the 7th day of October.


TEACHER wanted for the Wangaloa side school. Salary £60 per annum, with all the school fees and a residence. Applications with testimonials to be lodged on or before the 16th October, 1872.—Alex. Mitchell, Secretary School Committee, Wangaloa.


TEACHER Wanted for Wangaloa School. Salary £60, with school fees, residence, and glebe. Applications, with testimonials, to be lodged on or before October 15th, with—Alex. Mitchell, Clerk to Committee, Wangaloa.


IMMIGRANTS’ PASSAGE-MONEY.—Notice to Assisted Immigrants who arrived in the Province before the year 1869.

All immigrants who have arrived in the Province by ships prior to those referred to in the notice hereunder, and who have not paid their passage-money, are requested to do so at once by remitting same to me. Proceedings will be taken to recover in all cases of non-payment. When necessary the time for payment will be extended.

WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS.

EDUCATION RESERVES, SOUTHLAND.

APPLICATIONS will be received by Mr. John H. Baker, Survey Office, Invercargill, from persons wishing to lease any of the Reserves as formerly advertised.

Copies of the Otago Regulations, and conditions for the Leasing of Education Reserves can be obtained from Mr. Baker, Invercargill.


NOTICE is hereby given that the following sections in the Township of Greytown will be offered for sale by public auction at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Friday, the 11th October next, at noon—back sections at the upset price of £3 per quarter; front sections at £5 per section.

Sections 1 to 40, block XIV; 1 to 11, 14 to 18, block XV; 16, 17, and 18, block XVI, 1 to 4, 17 to 20, block XVII; 1 to 3, 8 to 11, 16, 17 and 20, block XVIII; 1 and 2, block XXI.

Immediately thereafter section 3, block XIII, Dunedin and East Taieri district, adjoining sections 145 and 146, Green Island Bush district, will be offered at the upset price of 21s. per acre.


FRIDAY, 11th October, at noon.
