NOTICE is hereby given, that section 13, block IV, Akatore District, containing 80a. 1r. 4p., and sections 11 and 18, block III, Akatore District, containing respectively 80a. 1r. 10p., and 78a. 3r. 12p., will be offered for sale by public auction, at Mr. Capstick’s Auction Rooms, Tokomairiro, on Monday the 28th day of October next, at noon, at the upset price of 10s. per acre.

SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be held at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Monday, the 7th day of October next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.
Notice is hereby further given that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Tuesday, the 15th day of October, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.
TUESDAY, 29th, at noon.
SECTIONS 13, block XV, Clutha District, containing 52a. 2r., will be offered by Auction, at the Crown Hotel, Balclutha on Tuesday, the 29th day of October, next, at noon, at the upset price of 10s. per acre.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the lease for 10 years of Run No. 445, containing 15,000 acres, will be offered for sale by Public Auction, at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Monday, the 28th day of October next, at noon, in Terms of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866,” at the upset price of half-penny per acre-rental to be assessment of 7d. per head on small cattle to be depastured on Run, but the minimum number not to be less than 1500 sheep; lease to commence on the day of sale—when a deposit of 1-10th part of the price and rental will be received, the balance as usual within a month.
Run No. 446, containing 1600 acres, situated in Tautuku Bush, on Tautuku River, adjoining Run No. 161, will be leased on that date, and subject to the usual conditions, to the present applicant, unless objections to the same are made to the Waste Lands Board, on or before the 26th day of October next.
Immediately after the sale of Run 445, section 90, block 6, North Harbor and Blueskin District, containing 70a. 3r. 22p., will be offered by auction, at the upset price of 10s. per acre.

NOTICE is hereby given, that section 76, block IV, Moeraki District, containing 24a. 2r. 33p., will be offered for sale by public auction, at the North Western Hotel, Palmerston, on Monday, the 20th day of October next, at noon, at the upset price of £1 1s. per acre, and subject to repayment of survey expenses.
Section 25, block 1, Waikouaiti District, containing 78a. 2r. 25p., will be offered by auction at the upset price of 10s. per acre.
THE Wardens of the New River Hundred have appointed Mr. George Hayward to be Ranger for that part of the Hundred lying on the left side of the Oreti River.—Wm. Russel, Secretary. 24th September, 1872.
NOTICE.—The Crichton Road Board intend to make on the 14th October, a general district rate for the year ending 20th June, 1873, in accordance with the Otago Roads Ordinance, 1871. The proposed rate is deposited at the house of the Clerk for inspection from this date.—Arch. Dunlop, Clerk to Board. 24th September, 1872.
SEASIDE Road Board.—Notice is hereby given, that Mr. Leitch, of Otakia, is authorised to collect all rates due to the late Brighton Road Board, and that the same must be paid on or before the 10th of October next, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken for the recovery thereof. By order of the Board, Thomas Howorth, Chairman. 24th September, 1872.
NOTICE.—Roslyn Road District Road Board.—The Roslyn Road Board having decided to levy a rate of sixpence in the £ on all rateable property within the district, for the current year, notice is hereby given, that the rate book will be deposited for the inspection of ratepayers, at Mr. Wm. Shedden’s store, from the 1st to the 15th day of October current.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned Thomas Michil Gogarty and Patrick Jackson Greer, at Clark’s Diggings, in the Mount Burster District of the Province of Otago, as storekeepers and miners, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The business will for the future be carried on by Mr. T. M. Gogarty, who will pay all debts due by, and collect all accounts due to the late firm.
