EDUCATION RESERVES, SOUTHLAND.
APPLICATIONS will be received by Mr. John H. Baker, Survey Office, Invercargill, from persons wishing to lease any of the Reserves as formerly advertised.

Copies of the Otago Regulations, and conditions for the Leasing of Education Reserves can be obtained from Mr. Baker, Invercargill.

MONDAY, the 30th day of September, at Noon.
NOTICE is hereby given, that section 7, block VI, Clarendon, containing 152a 1r 32p, and sections 1 of 16, 2 of 16, 17, 18, 22, and 36, block III, and 13, block IV, Kaitangata district, containing respectively 107a 2r 2p, 40a, 235a 2r 22p, 169a 0r 23p, 154a 0r 6p, 106a 1r, and 119a 0r 30p, will be offered for sale by public auction at Mr. Capstick’s auction room, on Monday, the 30th day of September next, at noon, at the upset price of 10s. per acre.

Immediately thereafter, section 2, block XVI, Waihola district, containing 51 acres, will be offered at the upset price of £1 per acre, and section 52, block I, Clarendon, containing 36 acres, formerly part of bush reserve, section 3, block I, at the upset price of 21s. per acre, as land of special value.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following sections in the Township of Greytown will be offered for sale by public auction at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Friday, the 11th October next, at noon:— back sections at the upset price of £3 per quarter; front sections at £5 per section.

Sections 1 to 40, block XIV; 1 to 11, 14 to 18, block XV; 16, 17, and 18, block XVI; 1 to 4, 17 to 20, block XVII; 1 to 3, 8 to 11, 16, 17 and 20, block XVIII; 1 and 2, block XXI.

Immediately thereafter, section 3, block XIII, Dunedin and East Taieri district, adjoining sections 145 and 146, Green Island Bush district, will be offered at the upset price of 21s. per acre.

FRIDAY, 11th October, 1872.
EDUCATION RESERVE.—Section 2 of 7, Block VI, North-east Harbour and Blueskin District, will be leased at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Friday, the 11th of October, immediately after the sale of Crown Lands.

Copies of Regulations, and Conditions of Lease, may be had on application at the Education Office.

SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be held at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Monday, the 7th day of October next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Tuesday, the 15th day of October, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.

EASIDE Road Board.—Notice is hereby given that Mr. Leitch, of Otakia, is authorised to collect all rates due to the late Brighton Road Board, and that the same must be paid on or before the 10th of October next, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken for the recovery thereof. By order of the Board, Thomas Howorth, Chairman. 24th September, 1872.

NOTICE.—All parties found after this notice quarrying or removing stone from any Road in the Waipori Road District, will be prosecuted. By order—James Sim, Clerk to Board. Waipori, 14th September, 1872.

NOTICE is hereby given to parents and guardians of pupils attending Green Island District School, that all school fees for the quarters ending September and December must be paid to Mr. Adam Rae, who only is authorised to collect and give receipt for the same on behalf of the School Committee. By order of the School Committee—Thomas King, Clerk. Green Island, 24th September, 1872.

IMPOUNDED, on the 19th day of September, 1872, by Messrs. Douglas & Co., Eden Creek Station, 1 blue cow, branded like F off rump; 1 red and white cow, C of rib, I B near rib; 1 black and white cow, B off rump; 1 red and white cow, S A off rump; 1 red and white steer, VI near rib, half near ear off; 1 strawberry heifer, VI near rib, half near ear off; 1 white steer, y off rump off ear marked; 1 red and white steer, XI near rib, half near ear off; 1 red and white heifer, XI near rib, half near ear off; 1 yellow cow, H near rump, W off rump; 1 strawberry steer, XI near rib, half near ear off; owners unknown, for trespassing on Eden Creek Station, for which five shillings per head expenses are claimed; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, at Leaning Rock, Clyde, on Friday, the 18th day of October, 1872, at twelve o’clock noon.—William Williams, Poundkeeper of the Leaning Rock, Clyde, Pound.

IMPOUNDED, on the 18th day of September, 1872, by Mr. A. Oliver, farmer, Clyde, one iron grey Colt, no visible brands; off hind foot white, with black spot in same, star; owner unknown; for trespassing on farm, for which no damages are claimed; and in default of being released, the above Colt will be sold at the Public Pound at Leaning Rock, Clyde, on Friday, the 11th day of October, 1872, at twelve o’clock noon.—William Williams, Poundkeeper of the Leaning Rock, Clyde, Pound.
