NOTICE is hereby given that section 3, block III, South Taieri district, containing 56a; section 1 of 14, and 13, block VII, Kaitangata district, 156a 3r 40p; and 188a 1r 26p will be offered for sale by public auction, by Mr Capstick, at his auction rooms, Tokomairiro, on Monday, the 5th day of August next, at noon, at the upset price of 10s. per acre.

Immediately thereafter, section 44, block II, Clutha district, (hitherto a bush reserve) containing 260a 3r 9p, will be offered at the upset price of £1s. per acre.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS for UNSURVEYED LAND under “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866.”

The Sections in the subjoined Schedule being now surveyed, the applicants are informed that the Waste Land Board will give its decision on their applications at this Office, on Wednesday, the 17th day of July, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon, on or before which day, objections to the survey, if any, must be made. In the event of the applications being granted, the purchase money may be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue at Invercargill, within a few days:

NOTICE to APPLICANTS for UNSURVEYED LAND under “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866.”

It is hereby notified to the applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that the Waste Land Board has declared them to be the purchasers of the sections set opposite their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase money of these sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue, in Dunedin, on or before Wednesday, the 17th day of July, 1872; otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled, and void, and the deposit made on lodging the application will be forfeited.

WASTE LAND BOARD, INVERCARGILL.

On and after 19th July next, Section 44, block VIII, Jacobs River Hundred, containing 73a 3r 14p, more or less, hitherto temporarily reserved, will be open for application at the Land Office, Invercargill.

On and after 19th July next, Section 14, Block IV, East Winton, containing 1 acre, more or less, hitherto reserved for a Mill Site, will be open for application at the Land Office, Invercargill.

**BLUESKIN Road District.—The Road Rates being now payable and overdue, notice is hereby given, that legal proceedings will be adopted for the recovery of same, unless payment is made to the collector on or before Monday first, the 8th July.

FINLAYSON, Collector, Blueskin.

IMPOUNDED, on the 24th day of June, 1872, by Alex. M’Nichol, farmer, West Taieri, two red steers, branded like the letters WD off rump, owner unknown, for trespassing on a green crop at West Taieri, for which 6s. per head is claimed for damages and driving expenses to pound; and, in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, at West Taieri, on the 19th day of July, 1872, at 12 o’clock noon—Michael Tyran, Poundkeeper of the West Taieri Pound.
