SCHEDULE.
William Grayson and Co., for two acres of land, more or less, as the same may be found after survey to be contained within the pegs and trenches of the applicants, situated at Clarke’s, adjoining the Scotch and Cornish Company’ Lease area.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
IN Conformity to the 29th Section of the "Gold Fields Act 1866," and to the Regulations made under that Act and the Gold Fields Acts Amendment Acts of 1867, 1868, and 1869, for the granting of leases for gold mining purposes within the Province of Otago, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease for gold mining purposes of Crown Lands to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against granting such lease.
Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing and lodged with the Warden, at Queenstown, on or before the 26th day of April, 1872.
Copy of the application made, and plans annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Queenstown.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works, until noon of Tuesday, the 23rd April, for
Contract No. 635—Formation of portions of Road Naseby to Coal-pit between Naseby and Kyeburn.
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; or at the Police Station, Naseby.
Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 635."
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Works until noon of Friday, 19th April, for—Contracts Nos. 637 and 638—Maintenance of portions of road "Tokomairiro to Tuapeka."
Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Lawrence.
Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 637 or 638," as the case may be.
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
DREDGING.—Tenders will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works, Dunedin, until noon of Tuesday, 23rd April, 1872, for—Contract No. 639, "Dredging at site of Railway Pier, Port Chalmers."
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.
Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 639."
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

Metalling and Repairing 10 chains, more or less, on road line through Mr. Larnach’s property: Mr. R.
