A MEETING for taking into consideration the following applications for Auctioneers’ Licences, will be held in the Provincial Government Offices, Dunedin, at noon of Thursday, 4th January, 1872:—

PUBLIC NOTICE,
Under Section 1, Regulation IV.
WHEREAS I have received sufficient proof that the portion of the Otago Goldfield described in the Schedule hereto, is for the whole or the greater part of an inferior character as regards the value of its gold deposits: Now therefore I hereby give notice that the same may be occupied by holders of Miners’ Rights in claims of the undermentioned size, viz.:— One (1) Acre for each holder of a Miner’s Right, provided that no block claim shall comprise more than six (6) acres altogether.
Given under my hand at Naseby, this eighth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

SCHEDULE.
All that portion of the Otago Goldfield situate in a gully leading into Spec Gully, alongside the Kyeburn road, and comprising three acres, more or less; bounded on the north by water race No. 93 200 yards, on the south-east by Kyeburn road 350 yards, and on the south by Spec Gully 100 yards.

IMMIGRATION MONEY.—Assisted Immigrants by the undernamed Ships are requested to forward to John Logan, Immigration Agent, Dunedin, the amount of their Passage Money. Proceedings will be taken to recover in all cases of non-payment without further notice.
