NOTICE

Of certain Land in the Town of Winton, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a site for a School.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section XVI of the "Southland Waste Lands Act 1865," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a site for a School at Winton; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve for a site for a School at Winton: that is to say—

Block VII, Winton Township, containing 2a 3r 7p.

Dated at Dunedin this seventh day of August, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

NOTICE

Of certain Land in the Invercargill Hundred, containing by admeasurement 4a 3r 16p, more or less, bounded on the south by section 1 of aforesaid block, 900 links; on the west by a public road forming the east boundary of section 6 of the said block XII, 1078 links; and on the north-east by a public road, 1402 links.

NOTICE

Of certain Lands in the Province of Otago having been reserved as an Endowment for an Atheneum at Riverton.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section XVI of the "Southland Waste Lands Act 1865," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for an endowment for an Atheneum at Riverton; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for an endowment for an Atheneum at Riverton: (that is to say)—

Sections Nos. 44, 45, 46, 55, 56, 69, 68, 67, 65, 66, and 64, Block VI, Jacob’s River Hundred, forming a total of 613a 0r 10p.

NOTICE

Of certain Land in the Campbelltown Hundred, in the Province of Otago, having been reserved as a site for a Quarry.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section XVI of the "Southland Waste Lands Act 1865," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved as a site for a Quarry; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve as a site for a Quarry: (that is to say)—

All that area in the Province of Otago, being section 24, block I, Campbelltown Hundred, containing 63 acres and 8 poles; bounded on the north-east by a public road, on the south-east by section 7, on the south-west by the Road Reserve along high-water mark, on the north-west by section 28.

Dated at Dunedin this seventh day of August, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

NOTICE

Of certain Lands in the Province of Otago having been reserved for Educational purposes.

By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section XVI of the "Southland Waste Lands Act 1865," recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for Educational purposes; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described as reserves for Educational purposes: (that is to say)—

All that area in the Province of Otago, being part of section 15, block XIII, Invercargill Hundred, containing nine (9) acres; bounded on the north by a public road, on the east by section 4 of block XV, on the south by Education Reserve No. 7, and on the west by the Main North road.
