Public Pound at Balclutha,

on Friday, the 3rd day of
November, 1871, at 12 o'clock noon.—GEORGE BAIN,
Poundkeeper of the Balclutha Pound.

IMPOUNDED on the 10th October, 1871, one red
and white cow, branded like B near shoulder,
W R off ribs, one red and white steer, ƗM conjoined,
near rump, one black and red steer, ƗM conjoined,
near rump, by J. D. Feraud, J.P., farmer, Monte
Christe, Clyde, supposed to belong to Robert Jones
Alexander, for trespassing on farm and breaking fences,
for which 4s each damages is claimed, and in default
of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the
public pound at Leaning Rock, Clyde, on Friday, 3rd
November, 1871, at 12 o'clock noon.—WILLIAM
