IMPOUNDED on the 14th day of April, 1871, by Mounted Constable John Bevan: 1 grey Horse, no visible brand; owner unknown; for wandering on Main South Road; for which 2s. 9d. driving expenses are claimed; and in default of being released, the above mare will be sold at the Public Pound at East Taieri, on Friday, the 5th day of May, 1871, at 12 o’clock noon. — JAMES PURVIS, Poundkeeper of the East Taieri Pound.

IMPOUNDED, on the 10th day of April, 1871, by John Irving, Ranger: one red Steer, branded like AD (conjoined), staggy horns; one red and white Heifer, branded like S near rump; owner unknown; for trespassing on Traquair Hundred; no damage is claimed; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Lake Waipori, on Friday, the 5th day of May, 1871, at 12 o’clock noon. — JAMES HENDERSON, Poundkeeper of the Lake Waipori Pound.

IMPOUNDED on the 13th day of April, 1871, by Robert Bain, ranger, one light-grey Mare, no visible brand, and one bay colt, branded like JC near shoulder, owner unknown, for trespassing on Town Belt, and in default of being released, the above horses will be sold at the Public Pound at South Dunedin on Friday, the 5th day of May, 1871, at twelve o’clock noon. — JOHN BARR, Poundkeeper of the South Dunedin Pound.

PAPAKAIO POUND. — All the horses advertised in Gazette of 12th April, 1871, except the undermentioned, viz., one chestnut mare, white blaze, like $2 off shoulder, and one bay colt, indistinct brand near shoulder, have been claimed. — JAMES DALGLEISH, Poundkeeper.

STOLEN OR STRAYED, from St. Bathans, a bay mare, white face, and white near hind foot, branded S near shoulder. The above Reward will be paid to any person delivering the same to Mr. Wm. McCONOCHIE, draper, St. Bathans, or to Mr. GIBSON P. GILMORE.

OAMARU FLAX COMPANY, LIMITED.

AN Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders of the above Company will be held at the Company’s Offices on the 26th April, 1871, at 8 p.m., for the purpose of confirming the following special resolution, passed at an extraordinary general meeting held on the 25th March last, viz., “That the Company be wound up voluntarily, and as expeditiously as possible.”
