ROADS PROPOSED TO BE CLOSED.
NOTICE.—Whereas it is intended to stop up these Roads and portions of Roads which are severally described in the Schedule hereunder written and are delineated on the maps or plans mentioned and referred to in the “Roads Diversion Ordinance 1870” Session XXVII copies of which maps or plans so far as they relate to the particular roads or portions of roads intended to be stopped up in the Road District specified in the Schedule have been deposited at the public School mentioned immediately after the description of the respective roads or portions of roads intended to be stopped up in such district: Now therefore I William Alexander Tolmie Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the “Roads Diversion Ordinance 1870” Session No. XXVII do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of such roads or portions of roads or any of them are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objections they may have to the stopping up of such roads or portions of roads and to leave such statement addressed to me at my office in Dunedin within sixty days from the first publication hereof otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Government have cancelled the Occupation Certificate issued under the Agricultural Lease Regulations in favor of Charles Thomson and Niel Andersen Nass, for Section 2, Block XX, Waitahuna East, and the Agricultural Leases issued in favor of the undermentioned—
James and William Cameron, section 2, block X, Waitahuna West,
Edward Herbert and others, section 3, Crookston,
Chas. Thomson and Neil Andersen Nass, section 36, block X, Waitahuna East,
Chas. Thomson and Neil Andersen Nass, section 37, block X, Waitahuna East.
And the land is now open for application under the Agricultural Lease Regulations.

FERRY.
HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified, that a Public Ferry has been established at the place undermentioned, at which charges will be levied according to the annexed Schedule.
Site of Ferry,
Clydevale, on the River Molyneux.
Schedule of Charges from sunrise till one hour after sunset—
For each Person ... 6d.
" horse, mule, or ass ... 1s.
" head of great cattle ... 1s.
" sheep, goat and hog, when up to 20 ... 2d.
" sheep, goat and hog, up to 250 ... 1d.
" sheep, goat and hog, over 200 ... 2d.
" bale of wool ... 1s.
Other goods, per ton or under ... 3s.
Coals, per ton ... 6d.
Storage of goods, per ton per week ... 3d.
From one hour after sunset till sunrise the above fares and freight and one-half more shall be charged.
The Mail and Government Officers when on duty are exempt from the payment of the said fares and freights.
