Sale of Crown Lands

The Reserve over the following Sections having been withdrawn, notice is hereby given that they will be offered for Sale by Public Auction in the Land Office, Dunedin, on the 3rd day of October next at noon, at the upset price of £1 per acre—

AN application having been received to purchase Section 2, Block 1, Clyde: Notice is hereby given that it will be sold under the 27th clause of the "Otago Waste Lands Act 1866" to the present applicant, at the price of £12 10s., unless applications shall be received for the same before the 1st day of October, 1870, from other persons desirous of purchasing the said section.

EDUCATIONAL MEETING

The inhabitants of Tuturau District are invited to meet at the new Schoolhouse on Tuesday, the 4th October, 1870, at 7 o’clock p.m., to elect a School Committee.—John Hislop, Secretary.

WEST TAIERI ROAD DISTRICT.

The Local Board hereby notify their intention of applying at the sitting of the General Road Board on the first Thursday of October, 1870, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of sixpence in the £ on all lands, houses, etc., in the district.

The Assessment Roll for the above district may be inspected by the Ratepayers at the Schoolhouse, for fourteen days from the date of this notice.—George Connor, Clerk to Board.

WAIHOLA WEST ROAD BOARD.

Notice is hereby given that the above-named Road Board intend applying to the General Road Board for leave to levy a Rate of threepence per acre.

ANDYMOUNT ROAD BOARD

The Board hereby notify their intention to apply to the General Road Board for power to levy a Highway Rate of one shilling in the pound on the annual value of houses, land, etc., in the district.
