LITHOGRAPH MAPS of the Province of Otago, and of the surveyed Towns, Blocks, and Districts therein, may be obtained at the Land Office, Dunedin; at Mr. Livingston’s, bookseller, Prince’s street; and at the agencies of Mr. Livingston, Oamaru; Mr. Smith, Waikouaiti; Mr. Stoddart, Hampden; Messrs. B. Hibbard and Co., Tokomairiro; and at the Survey Offices at Queenstown, Clyde, Naseby, and Lawrence, so far as relates to the Districts, &c., adjacent to them; but any map not on hand at any of the Survey Offices may be ordered through them.
All the surveyed Towns and Blocks have been lithographed—price 1s. each. The Districts now lithographed on a scale of 80 chains to an inch are Awamoko, Papakaio, Oamaru, Kauroo, Otepopo, and Moeraki—price 5s. each.

LAND open for sale on 18th May, 1870.—See Gazette published 19th May, 1870, which may be had at the various Survey and Police Stations throughout the Province, and at the Land Office, Dunedin.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the following allotments of Rural Land, with the Buildings and Improvements thereon, will be offered for sale by auction, as land of special value, in the Land Office, Dunedin, on Monday, the 19th September, 1870, at noon.
BLOCK III, KURIWAO DISTRICT.
Section 1, containing 25a 1r 24p Upset price, £80
Do 2, do 4a 3r 11p do £400
Do 3, do 10a 1r 15p do £70
Do 10, do 9a 3r 19p do 21s per acre.
Section 1 is partly fenced, and is now used as an accommodation paddock attached to the hotel.
The hotel, now occupied by Mr. Thomas Pollock, is situated on section 2, and consists of bar, dining-room, parlor, private room, four bed-rooms on the ground floor, and eight on the upper floor. The outbuildings connected with the hotel consist of nine stalled stable, with two loose boxes, cooking house, blacksmith’s shop, barn, and stockyard.
The Survey Office is situated on section 3, and contains four rooms, two on the ground floor and two upstairs, and will be sold along with the land.
Section 10 is unimproved.
The sections adjoin each other.
NOTICE is hereby given, that Section 2, Block XIV, Dunedin and East Taieri District, adjoining 73 and 74, Green Island Bush, and containing three acres one rood and thirty-six poles, will be offered for sale by public auction, in the Land Office, Dunedin, on Monday, the 19th day of September, 1870, at the upset price of £2 per acre, subject to valuation for improvements effected thereon, to be stated at sale.
Sale of Pastoral Lease of Runs, by Auction:
MONDAY, 19th SEPTEMBER.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the undermentioned Pastoral Leases of the country comprised within the following boundaries will be offered for sale by public auction, in the Waste Land Board Office, Dunedin, on Monday, the 19th day of September, 1870, immediately after the other land advertised to be offered at that time, at the upset price of a halfpenny per acre:
Run No. 438 comprises 35,000 acres, is estimated to carry 3000 sheep, and is bounded on the north by Run 350 and Wakatipu Depasturing District, Run No. 17; on the south by Crown Lands; on the east by Runs 17 and 18, Wakatipu Depasturing District; on the west by Run No. 324.
Run No. 439 comprises 9000 acres, is estimated to carry 1000 sheep, and is bounded on the north by Run 403, on the south by Run 227, on the east by summit of the Hawkdun Range, and on the west by Run No. 228.
