MAUNGATUA ROAD DISTRICT.—The Local Road Board hereby notify their intention to apply at the next sitting of the General Road Board, on the first Thursday of September, 1870, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of one shilling in the £ on all lands, houses, &c., in the District.
The Assessment Roll for the above District may be inspected by the Ratepayers at the Schoolhouse, Maungatua, for fourteen days from the date of this notice.

MOUNT ROYAL ROAD BOARD.—Notice is hereby given, that the above-named Road Board intend to apply to the General Road Board for authority to levy a Highway Rate, in October, 1870, of three pence (3d.) per acre; and the Assessment Roll is now ready, and can be inspected for fourteen days from date at my house.—JOHN KEAN, Clerk and Collector.

CLYDEVALE.—Notice is hereby given, that at the next statutory meeting of the General Road Board, the Local Board of Clydevale intend to apply for leave to levy a rate for the current year on all lands in the District, and that the Assessment Roll for the current year may be seen by all persons interested herein for fourteen days from the date hereof, at the residence of Mr. Alexander Mitchell, Chairman to the Board, situate at Clydevale Farm, in the District of Clydevale aforesaid.
