All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation one hundred and eighty-six thousand (186,000) acres more or less being Runs numbered respectively three hundred and eighty-nine (389) four hundred and fifteen (415) four hundred and sixteen (416) and four hundred and thirty-one (431) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north by Crown Lands ninety-six thousand (96,000) links towards the east by Runs numbered respectively 418 417 350 324 and 391 and Crown Lands three hundred and eighty-four thousand (384,000) links towards the south by Run numbered 800B forty thousand (40,000) links and towards the west by the Mararoa River and Crown Lands four hundred and forty-eight thousand (448,000) links be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation sixty-six thousand four hundred (66,400) acres more or less being part of Run numbered two hundred and sixty-two (pt. of 262) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north by Run numbered 256 sixty thousand (60,000) links by Runs numbered respectively 220 261 and 308 one hundred and thirty-six thousand (136,000) links towards the south by Runs numbered respectively 199 and 353 one hundred and seventy-six thousand (176,000) links and towards the west by Mining Reserve along the Clutha River fifty-eight thousand (58,000) links also by Run numbered 256 fifty-nine thousand (59,000) links be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation three thousand (3,000) acres more or less being Run numbered four hundred and twenty-seven (427) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north-east by the Waiau River thirty-two thousand (32,000) links towards the south-east by the Waiau River eighteen thousand (18,000) links and towards the west by Crown Lands thirty-seven thousand six hundred (37,600) links be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation forty-eight thousand (48,000) acres more or less being Run numbered four hundred and twenty-nine (429) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north by Run numbered 330 eight thousand (8,000) links towards the east by Mining Reserve along the Clutha River one hundred and sixty thousand (160,000) links towards the south by Run numbered 369 thirty-five thousand (35,000) links and towards the west by Runs numbered respectively 437 339 and 330 one hundred and forty-four thousand (144,000) links be all the said linkages more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation fifty-one thousand three hundred and sixty (51,360) acres more or less being Runs numbered respectively two hundred and fifty-three (253) and three hundred and sixty-eight (368) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north by Run numbered 328 and Benger Commonage one hundred and twelve thousand (112,003) links towards the south-east by Runs numbered respectively 212 and 215 one hundred and twenty thousand (120,000) links towards the south by Run numbered 232 fifty thousand (50,000) links and towards the west by Runs numbered respectively 254B 326 and 327 eighty thousand (80,000) links be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation seven thousand five hundred (7,500) acres more or less being Run numbered four hundred and thirty-three (433) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north by the Province of Canterbury thirteen thousand six hundred (13,630) links towards the south-east by Crown Lands sixty thousand (60,000) links towards the south by Runs numbered respectively 335A and 335B eighteen thousand four hundred (18,400) links and towards the west by Hawae Lake the Hunter River and Township Reserve sixty-five thousand (65,000) links be all the aforesaid linkage more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation one hundred and eight thousand eight hundred (108,800) acres more or less being Run numbered two hundred and thirty-seven (237) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north by Longspur Creek and Run numbered 235 ninety-six thousand (96,000) links towards the east by Runs numbered respectively 201, 228, and 226 one hundred and ninety-two thousand (192,000) links towards the south by Run numbered 238 sixty thousand (60,000) links and towards the west by Lindisburn ninety thousand (90,000) links be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

NOTICE

Of certain Land in the Province of Otago having been reserved and set apart as an endowment for Benevolent Institutions within the said Province.

By His Honor William Alexander Tolmie, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 62 of the โ€œOtago Waste Lands Act 1866โ€ recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved and set apart as an endowment for Benevolent Institutions now or hereafter to be established in the Province of Otago and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved and set apart for that purpose Now therefore I William Alexander Tolmie Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve as an endowment for Benevolent Institutions now or hereafter to be established in the Province of Otago (that is to say)
