Otago Peninsula District bounded towards the north by section 54 nine hundred and eighty-eight (988) links towards the east by section 30 six hundred and sixteen (616) links towards the south by section 55 one thousand one hundred and thirty (1130) links and towards the west by a road line three hundred and thirty-four and a half (334½) links and three hundred and sixty-five (365) links.

Also all that area comprising section 72 block VII. Pomahaka District containing by admeasurement eleven (11) acres three (3) roods and nine (9) poles more or less bounded towards the north by a road line one thousand six hundred and seventy (1670) links towards the east by a road line one hundred and eighty (180) links towards the south by the Waiwera stream one thousand nine hundred and forty (1940) links and towards the west by section 1 of 62 eight hundred and thirty (830) links.

All that area situate in the Province of Otago containing by admeasurement ten (10) acres and eight (8) poles more or less being section 21 block VII. North Harbour and Blueskin District bounded towards the north by section 20 one thousand seven hundred and fifty (1750) links towards the east by the main north road eight hundred and twenty (820) links towards the south by a road line one thousand four hundred (1400) links and towards the west by Crown lands six hundred (600) links.

NOTICE.

Of certain Land in the Province of Otago, having been reserved and set apart as an Endowment for the establishment and maintenance of High, Grammar, and District Schools within the said Province.

By His Honor William Alexander Tolmie, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved and set apart as an Endowment for the establishment and maintenance of High, Grammar, and District Schools within the said Province; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, William Alexander Tolmie, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve for the purpose of and set apart as an Endowment for the establishment and maintenance of High, Grammar, and District Schools within the said Province (that is to say)

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation two hundred and forty thousand five hundred (240,500) acres more or less being runs numbered respectively four hundred and twenty-five A (425A) four hundred and twenty-five B (425B) four hundred and twenty-eight (428) four hundred and twenty-three (423) three hundred and fifty-four (354) part of three hundred and ninety-eight (pt. 398) four hundred and thirty-six (436) four hundred and thirty-seven (437) two hundred and fourteen (214) and four hundred and twenty-four (424) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north by runs numbered respectively 339 and 325 B one hundred and sixty-six thousand (106,000) links towards the east by runs numbered respectively 249 and 369 one hundred and sixty thousand (160,001) links towards the south by Benger Commonage by Crown lands and runs numbered respectively 327 and 328 two hundred and eighty-eight thousand (288,000) links and towards the west by the Mataura River by other part of run numbered 298 also by runs numbered respectively 323 359 432 and 351 four hundred and seventy-two thousand (472,000) links be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation five hundred and three thousand six hundred (503,600) acres more or less being Runs numbered respectively three hundred and thirty-three (333) three hundred and thirty-eight (338) three hundred and thirty-five A (335A) four hundred and thirty (430) and parts of Runs numbered respectively three hundred and thirty-four (part of 334) two hundred and thirty-nine (part of 239) three hundred and thirty-five (part of 335) and two hundred and thirty-six (part of 236) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north by Run numbered 337 ninety-six thousand (96,000) links by the Province of Canterbury one hundred and six thousand (106,000) links by Run numbered 433 and Crown Lands fifty-two thousand (52,000) links by Run numbered 240 twenty thousand (20,000) links also by Mining Reserve along the Kawarau river ninety thousand (90,000) links towards the east by Hunter river and Hawea lake sixty-five thousand (65,000) links and by Runs numbered respectively 429 235 237 and other part of Run numbered 236 two hundred and eighty-eight thousand (288,000) links by other part of Run numbered 334 and the Mining Reserve along the Cardrona river eighty-eight thousand (88,000) links also by Run numbered 255 one hundred and four thousand (104,000) links towards the south by Mining Reserve along the Kawarau river seventy-two thousand (72,000) links also by Runs numbered respectively 330 and 331 eighty-eight thousand (88,000) links also by other part of Run 239 sixteen thousand (16,000) links and towards the west by Mining Reserve along the Clutha river and other part of Run numbered 236 one hundred and ninety-two thousand (192,000) links by Run numbered 335 B eighty thousand (80,000) links by other part of Run numbered 315 eighteen thousand (18,000) links by Crown Lands and Boundary Creek eighty-eight thousand (88,000) links by Crown Lands three hundred and sixty thousand (360,000) links also by the Wanaka lake ninety-eight thousand (98,000) links be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation one hundred and forty-four thousand two hundred (144,240) acres more or less being Run numbered two hundred and fifty-four (254) and parts of Runs numbered respectively one hundred and eighty-six (part of 186) and two hundred and fifty-nine (part of 259) on the map of the said Province bounded towards the north-east by Runs numbered respectively 213 B and 248 one hundred and sixty-two thousand (162,000) links towards the east by Run numbered 79 fifty-seven thousand five hundred (57,500) links also by Runs numbered respectively 48 and 260 one hundred thousand (100,000) links towards the south by commonage reserve and mining reserve along the Waipori River ninety-eight thousand (98,000) links and towards the west by Runs numbered respectively 52 A and 353 two hundred and sixteen thousand (216,000) links be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

All that area in the Province of Otago containing by estimation fifty-five thousand (55,000) acres more or less being part of Run numbered two hundred and forty-three (part of 243) on the map of the said Province.
