NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.

The Local Road Board hereby notify their intention of applying at the next sitting of the General Road Board, on the 1st Thursday of August, 1870, for authority to levy a highway rate of sixpence in the pound. The Assessment Roll for the above District is now ready, and may be inspected by the ratepayers at Mr. Thomas Brown’s Hotel, N.E. Valley, for fourteen days from the date of this notice.—HENRY DUNCAN,
