The following alterations have been made on the above notice since it first appeared:—

Mosgiel.—To meet on Saturday, instead of Friday, and at Messrs. J. and A. Robertson's instead of Mr. A. Mollison's.

Pine Hill.—To meet at seven p.m. instead of noon.

Sandymount.—To meet at Mr. Peter Carmichael's instead of Mr. James Stevenson's.

Note.—The attention of ratepayers is specially directed to the 9th, 10th and 11th clauses of the "Otago Roads Ordinance 1865" for mode of procedure at electoral meetings, and other information.

A SPECIAL meeting of the Education Board will be held in the Government Buildings, Dunedin, upon Thursday, the 9th June, 1870, at noon.

SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given, that a sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be holden at the Supreme Court-house, Dunedin, on Monday, the sixth day of June next, at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizance to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given, that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Monday, the thirteenth day of June, at ten o'clock in the forenoon.

NOTICE.—All parties in the Warepa Road District not having their rates paid, are requested to pay the same immediately, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken without further notice.—W. A. BEWS, Collector. 25th May, 1870.

OPMANHURST ROAD DISTRICT.—Notice is hereby given, that the precept authorising the collection of a Highway Rate of Fourpence (4d.) per acre, has been issued by the General Board. Ratepayers are therefore requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to the undersigned at the Schoolhouse, Otepopo, on or before the 12th day of June next.—ALEX. PIRIE, Collector. Otepopo, May 17, 1870.

N. E. HARBOR.—Parties claiming to be enrolled as voters in the North-east Harbor Road District, are requested to call for registration at the Schoolhouse, on or before Saturday, the 18th inst. GEORGE P. BELL, Clerk. N. E. Harbor, June 2nd, 1870.

IMPOUNDED on the 26th day of May, 1870, by James Duncan, Tapanui, one white Bull, no visible brand, supposed to belong to Samuel Henry, Waipori, for trespassing on purchased property at Flodden Creek, Tapanui, for which Five Pounds (£5) sterling damages is claimed, and in default of being released, the above Bull will be sold at the Public Pound at Tapanui, on Friday, the 1st day of July, 1870, at 12 o'clock noon.—ALEX.
