IMPOUNDED on the 23rd day of May, 1870, by
Mr. G. W. Langley, one red Heifer, branded like
BH near rump, owner unknown, for trespassing on his
paddock, for which he claims damages ten shillings
sterling, and in default of being released, the above
heifer will be sold at the Public Pound at Tokomairiro,
on the 1st day of July, 1870, at 12 o’clock noon.—

SCHEDULE A.
THE undersigned John Evans, hereby make application to register the Benlomond Water Race and Mining Company, Registered, under the provisions of "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely—
- The name and style of the Company is the Benlomond Water Race and Mining Company, Registered.
- The place of operations is at the Marewhenua Gold Field, in the Province of Otago.
- The nominal Capital of the Company is Three Thousand Pounds in One hundred and fifty shares of Twenty Pounds each.
- The amount already paid up is One Thousand Two Hundred and Eighty Pounds, of which sum Four Hundred Pounds is allotted in paid-up shares.
