NOTICE
Road District, a portion of Section fifty-three (53), Block eleven (XI), on the map of the said North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District.
And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the Bill so intended to be introduced, as aforesaid, may be inspected at the office of the Clerk of the said Provincial Council, on and after the thirty-first day of March now instant.

NOTICE
"Provincial Compulsory Lands Taking Act 1866."
NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended to introduce a Bill into the Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, at its next Session, authorising the Superintendent of the Province of Otago to take compulsorily, for the purpose of completing a road in the Owhiro District, a portion of Section thirty-seven (37), Taieri River, Sections on the map of the Taieri Survey District.
And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the Bill so intended to be introduced, as aforesaid, may be inspected at the Office of the Clerk of the said Provincial Council, on and after the thirty-first day of March next ensuing the date hereof.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land and Works until noon of Friday, 18th March, for—
Contract No. 473—Construction of a Portable Crane for Rattray Street Jetty.
Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.
Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 473.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Land and Works until noon of Friday, 18th March, for—
1st. Contract No. 471—Gravelling portions of the road “Palmerston to Eweburn,” in blocks 4, 5, and 7, Moeraki.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; or at Police Station, Palmerston.
2nd. Contract No. 472—Repairing old portion of Port Molyneux Jetty.
Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; or at Police Station, Port Molyneux.
3rd. Contract No. 474—Construction of portions of the road “Cromwell to Queenstown.”
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; or at Police Station, Queenstown.
4th. Contract No. 478—Construction of a Timber Bridge over the Marairua Stream, Lower Mataura District, and Formation of Road adjoining.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; or at Mr. J. Pollock’s, Mataura Bridge.
5th. Contract No. 479—Construction of Bridge over the Paiwata Stream, Main South Road.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; or at Police Station, Balclutha.
6th. Contract No. 480—Construction of a Timber Foot Bridge over Gabriel’s Gully.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; or at Police Station, Lawrence.
Tenders to be indorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract Nos. 471, 472, 474, 478, 479, 480,” as the case may be.
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Land and Works, until noon of Monday, March 21, 1870, for the following contracts:
