Cemetery and Partnership Notices




LOWING FEES, viz:—

Digging grave, above 10 years of age, 15s.; under 10 years of age, 10s.; attendance and dressing ground, above 10 years of age, 5s.; attendance and dressing ground, under 10 years of age, 3s.

  1. The said warrant when received by the grave-digger shall be sufficient authority to him for such interment.

  2. The moneys arising from the sale of such lots, and the said fees shall (after deducting thereout all necessary expenses incurred and to be incurred) be expended in improving the Cemetery.

  3. The managers shall publish a statement once a year, shewing the amounts received and paid by them on account of the Cemetery.

  4. All ordinary meetings of the managers shall be held on the first Wednesday of every alternate month at 6 o’clock p.m., commencing in January, 1869. Special meetings may be called by the Clerk at any time.

  5. The said Record book shall be open for the inspection of the public on paying a fee of one shilling for each inspection.

In terms of Clauses 14 and 15 of Cemetery Reserves Management Ordinance, we beg to enclose the above statement of accounts, and to report that we have enclosed two acres with post and wire, and also live fence; we have also succeeded in making considerable improvements, and, through the liberality of the Government, we are now clear of debt.

NOTICE

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership between the undersigned Henry Cable, Duncan Drummond, and James Wright, in the trade and business of cattle dealers and slaughtermen, at Waipori, under the firm or style of Jas. Wright and Co., in so far as concerns the said Henry Cable and Duncan Drummond only and not otherwise, was this day dissolved by mutual consent, and in future the business will be carried on by the said James Wright on his own account, and the said James Wright will pay all debts owing by James Wright, H. Cable, D. Drummond, and receive all debts owing to the said partnership, in the regular course of trade.

Witness our hands this fourth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
