NOTICE TO APPLICANTS for UNSURVEYED LAND,

under "Otago Waste Land Act, 1866."

It is hereby notified to the applicants whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that the Waste Land Board has declared them to be the purchasers of the Sections set opposite to their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase money of these Sections must be paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Dunedin, on or before Wednesday, the 18th day of November, 1868, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging the application will be forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the said John Mathews has this day been adjudged a bankrupt on his own petition, that Tuesday, the tenth day of November instant, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, has been appointed for the first meeting of creditors, and that the said bankrupt is ordered then and there to surrender.

In the matter of "The Bankruptcy Act 1867."

NOTICE is hereby given, that a certain Deed dated the twenty-sixth day of October, 1868, and made between DAVID CLARK and JOHN PATERSON, both of Oamaru, in the Province of Otago, New Zealand, drapers, of the first part, all the persons creditors of the said David Clark and John Paterson of the second part, and Henry Tewsley and William Scoular of the third part: whereby the said David Clark and John Paterson conveyed and assigned all their real and personal estate to the said Henry Tewsley and William Scoular, for the benefit of the creditors of them, the said David Clark and John Paterson, and which said deed is intended to operate and take effect as a Deed of Arrangement, executed in pursuance and conformity with the provisions of "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867," was this day filed in the office of the Supreme Court, at Dunedin.

Dated this 31st day of October, 1868.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a sitting of the said Court for the dispatch of Criminal and Civil business, will be holden at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the first day of December next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons under recognizance to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses are hereby required to give their attendance.

NOTICE is hereby given, that WILLIAM WARD, of Teviot, in the Province of Otago, miner, has this day filed in this honorable Court, a declaration of Insolvency, pursuant to the provisions of the above Act.
