In the matter of the Petition of JOHN SWITZER, of
Princes street, Dunedin, in the Province of Otago,
New Zealand, Boot and Shoe Importer, a Bankrupt;
and in the matter of the "Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862," "The Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act, 1865," and "The Debtors and Creditors Acts Amendment Act, 1866.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Petition of the
said John Switzer, entitled in the above matters,
and presented with the concurrence of Messrs. Driver
and Maclean of Dunedin, Stock and Station Salesmen,
and creditors of the Petitioner to the extent of Fifty
Pounds and upwards, has been accepted by His Honor
Mr. Justice Chapman, who has appointed Monday, the
twenty-fourth day of June next, for hearing the said
Petition at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin.

Dated this 20th day of May, 1867.

In the matter of the Petition of JOHN SWITZER, of
Princes-street, Dunedin, in the Province of Otago,
New Zealand, Boot and Shoe Importer, a Bankrupt;
and in the matter of "The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862," "The Debtors and Creditors Amendment Act, 1865," and "The Debtors and Creditors Acts Amendment Act, 1866.

WHEREAS the above-named John Switzer has
this day presented his Petition in writing to
me, Henry Samuel Chapman, Esquire, a Judge of the
Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland
District, praying that his estate might be placed under
sequestration for the benefit of his creditors, and that
he might be protected from arrest, and have relief
according to the provisions of the said Acts; and the
said John Switzer also made affidavit of such facts as
have satisfied me of the truth of the matters contained
in the said Petition.

And whereas application has been made to me for an order for the sequestration of the estate of the said John Switzer upon hearing Mr.
Cook, the Solicitor for the Petitioner, I do order that
the said estate and effects of the said John Switzer be
placed under sequestration in the hands of George
Brodie, Esquire, of Dunedin, Inspector in Bankruptcy
for the Province of Otago, and that the same shall be
