TOMAHAWK ROAD DISTRICT.—NOTICE.
WHEREAS it is intended to stop those Roads and Portions of Roads situate and being in the Tomahawk Road District and which are hereinafter described, and are delineated on the map or plan mentioned and referred to in the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1865," a copy of which plan has been deposited at the Public School in the said District:—Now therefore, I, Thomas Dick, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the power vested in me that behalf by the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1865," do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping of such roads, or portions of roads, [or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well grounded objection they may have to the stopping up of such roads, or portions of roads, and to leave such statement addressed to me, at my office, in Dunedin, within sixty days from the date hereof; otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.
Description of the Roads and Portions of Roads in the Tomahawk Road District which the Superintendent is intended to empower to Stop Up.
No. 20.—TOMAHAWK ROAD DISTRICT.
1.—60 chains in length, 60 links wide, from application 1529, Otago Peninsula Survey District, to Tomahawk Valley Creek; boundaries, north, sections 30 and 31, block III, and section 15, block II, with part of section 21, block I, Tomahawk; south, sections 28 and 29, block III, and section 14, block II, and part of 19, block I, Tomahawk.
2.—2 chains 50 links in length, 60 links wide, from District Road between blocks I and II to near Trunk Road on section 3, block I, Tomahawk; north, part of section 1, block I, Tomahawk District; south, part of section 3, block I, Otago Peninsula.
3.—16 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Trunk Road on section 1, block I, to District Road between block I, Tomahawk, and block I, Otago Peninsula; boundaries, towards the north, part of section 1, block I, Tomahawk; towards the south, part of section 4, block I, Otago Peninsula.
4.—5 chains in length, 60 links wide, from southwest angle of section 1, block I, Tomahawk, to Trunk Road on section 1, block I, Tomahawk; boundaries, towards the north by part of section 1, block I, Tomahawk; south, part of block I, Otago Peninsula.
5.—14 chains in length, 60 links wide, from District Road between blocks II and III, Tomahawk, to Trunk Road on section 1, block II, Tomahawk; boundaries, towards the north by part of section 1, block II, Tomahawk; south, by part of application 1749.
6.—5 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Trunk Road on section 1, block II, to south angle of application, 1749; boundaries, towards the north by part of section 1, block II, Tomahawk; towards the south by part of application 1749.

OWHIRO ROAD DISTRICT.—NOTICE.
WHEREAS it is intended to stop those Roads and Portions of Roads situate and being in the Owhiro Road District, and which are hereinafter described, and are delineated in the map or plan mentioned and referred to in the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1865," a copy of which map or plan are deposited at the Public School in the East Taieri District:—
Now therefore, I, Thomas Dick, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1865," do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of such roads, or portions of roads, or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objection they may have to the stopping up of such roads or portions of roads, and to leave such statement, addressed to me, at my office, in Dunedin, within sixty days from the date hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.
Description of the Roads and Portions of Roads in the Owhiro District, which the Superintendent is empowered to Stop Up.
No. 22.—OWHIRO ROAD DISTRICT.
1.—112 chains in length, 60 links wide from Trig. Station O, on section 1, irregular block, Taieri, to road between sections 17, block XX, Taieri Survey District, and river section 33; boundaries, north and west, river sections 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33; south and east, sections 10, 9, 18, and 17, block XX, Taieri.
2.—35 chains in length, 60 links wide from road of river section 26, to road on river section 27; boundaries, east, part of sections 26 and 27, West Taieri River.
3.—31 chains in length, 60 links wide, from road on river section 27, to road on river section 29; boundaries, towards the east, river section 28, and parts of river sections 27 and 29, West Taieri River.

NOTICE.—Whereas an Application for Crown Grants for Sections 58 and 101, Port Chalmers, has been made by Louisa Parsons, of Lyttelton, in the Province of Canterbury, Widow, claiming to be entitled under the will of her late husband John Parsons, of Southampton Street, Camberwell, in the County of Surrey, Notice is hereby given that I have appointed Thursday, the 11th day of January, 1866, for the purpose of hearing and deciding the claim of the said Louisa Parsons, when all persons claiming any interest in the aforesaid sections are requested to attend and state their objections (if any) to the claim of the said Louisa Parsons being granted.
