MEETINGS OF DISTRICT BOARDS OF ROAD TRUSTEES.

The first meetings of the District Boards of Road Trustees, recently elected for the several districts hereinafter mentioned, and from which returns have been received, are hereby appointed to be held at the respective times and places following for the transaction of general business in connection with District Roads:—

GREYTON District.—At the house of Mr. Robert Dowe, within the said district, on Thursday, the 13th day of April, at 4 o’clock p.m.

BRIGHTON District.—At the Store, Brighton, within the said district, on Wednesday, the 12th day of April, at 4 o’clock p.m.

OTAKIA District.—At the School-house, within the said district, on Friday, the 14th day of April, at 4 o’clock p.m.

MILBURN District.—At the School-house, within the said district, on Thursday, the 13th day of April, at 4 o’clock p.m.

HELENSBROOK Road District.—At Dyer’s Hotel, within the said district, on Friday, the 14th day of April, at 4 o’clock p.m.

MILTON Road District.—At the School-house, within the said district, on Saturday, the 15th day of April, at 2 o’clock p.m.

HILLINGDON Road District.—At the house of Mr. John Noble, within the said district, on Wednesday, the 12th day of April, at 4 o’clock p.m.

ADAMSTHORPE Road District.—At the house of Mr. Jasper Clarke, within the said district, upon Saturday, the 15th day of April, at 4 o’clock p.m.

PURUKA Road District.—At the School-house, within the said district, on Thursday, the 13th day of April, at 4 o’clock p.m.

STONY CREEK Road District.—At the house of Mrs. Rae, within the said district, on Wednesday, the 19th day of April, at 4 o’clock p.m.

N.E. VALLEY Road District.—At the School-house, within the said district, on Thursday, the 13th day of April, at 8 o’clock p.m.

PINE HILL Road District.—At the house of Mr. John Gray, within the said district, on Wednesday, the 12th day of April, at 7 o’clock p.m.

SALE OF CROWN LANDS BY PUBLIC AUCTION.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the following Sections having been applied for by two persons on the same day, will be sold by public auction at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 20th day of April, at 12 o’clock noon. Any person may bid at the auction and become the purchaser.

NEW HUNDREDS.

APPLICATIONS

for the purchase of Land within the Hundreds of Awamoko, Kakanui, and Cattles, will be received at this office, on the following days, viz.:—

Awamoko, on Monday, the 10th day of April next.
Kakanui, on Wednesday, the 12th day of April next.
Cattles, on Friday, the 13th day of April next.
The land in Tuturau Hundred has been withdrawn from sale.

MOERAKI HUNDRED.

THE Wardens of the Hundred of Moeraki have adopted the following Regulation with reference to Depasturing on the Hundred for the Year 1865:—

Every holder of a Depasturing License shall be entitled to depasture Stock, at the rate of one head of Great Cattle only, for every three acres of land he is in legal possession of within the limits of said Hundred.
