28th March, Tuesday (at noon), one Bay Mare and Filly to be sold at Blueskin Pound.

28th March, Tuesday (at noon), a Heifer to be sold at Hawksbury Pound.

30th March, Thursday, Applications for Sections in blocks I and II, Shotover District, to be received at the Gold Receiver’s Office, Queenstown.

31st March, Friday (at noon), a Mare to be sold at Oamaru Pound.

5th April, Wednesday (at noon), sale of Sections in Outram Township, at the West Taieri Bridge Hotel.

7th April, Friday (at noon), a Gelding to be sold at North Dunedin Pound.

10th April, (Monday), Land within Awamoko open for application.

11th April, Tuesday (at noon), sale of Sections in Hawksbury Township, at the Court House, Hawksbury.

11th April, Tuesday, (after the sale of Hawksbury Sections), sale of Sections in Palmerston Township, at the Court House, Hawksbury.

12th April, Wednesday (at noon), Provincial Council meets in Dunedin.

12th April, (Wednesday), Land within Kakanui Hundred open for application.

13th April, (Friday) Land within Catlin’s Hundred open for application.

APPOINTMENT TO BE MADE.

Time Extended for making Application.

CHIEF Inspector of Sheep, Inspector of Cattle, and Chief Registrar of Brands, &c. One person fills the whole of the offices. Application to be made to the Provincial Treasurer, on or before noon of Friday, 31st March, current.


TENDERS WANTED for Horses and Drivers for

Bell Hill Works for six months, commencing 1st April, 1865. Tenders to be lodged at the Superintendent's Office, by noon of Wednesday, 22nd March. For further particulars apply to the Gaol.

TO CONTRACTORS.

Kawarau to Frankton.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Public Works until noon of Monday, the 10th April, for Contract No. 117, entering Drives through and Blasting the Nevis Cliffs on the Road, Kawarau to Wakatipu.

Plans and Specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the office of the District Engineer, Cromwell, on and after this date.

Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 117."

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
