SUPREME COURT, OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND DISTRICT.

INSOLVENT JURISDICTION.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting of the said Court, for the despatch of all business arising under the "Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862" will be holden at the Court House, Dunedin, on Saturday, the 18th day of March next, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon.

OTEPOPO HUNDREDS.

ALL Holders of Licenses to Depasture Stock on the above Hundreds, are hereby required to forward to the Wardens, on or before the Fifteenth day of March next, a Return showing the number and description of all Stock above the age of six months at that date, belonging to, or under the charge of, each of them, which they are depasturing on the Hundreds during the current year, together with their respective brands, as per annexed schedule.

N.B.—A penalty of not more than £5 will be incurred by any person or persons neglecting to make the above return, or making a false one.

Any person wishing to depasture Sheep on the Hundred, must first obtain the consent (in writing) of the Wardens, before they will be allowed to do so.

OTEPOPO HUNDREDS.

TENDERS will be received by the Wardens of the above Hundreds, till the 15th day of March next, from persons willing to undertake the office of Ranger from that date to the 31st December of the current year.

The duties of the Ranger will be to see that no cattle belonging to unlicensed persons are depastured on the Hundreds, to be prepared to impound the same, subject to the consent of the Wardens; to be ready at any time, on a complaint from any license-holder, to impound any dangerous or vicious animal; and generally to look after the interests of the license-holders in the Hundreds.

Persons tendering for the above, to state the rate at which they will undertake these duties, providing their own horse.

Tenders to be addressed to the Wardens of the Otepopo Hundred. The Wardens do not bind themselves to accept the lowest or any tender.

OTEPOPO HUNDREDS.

NOTICE.—All Persons running Cattle on the above Hundreds, without having a License to depasture them, are requested to take out Licenses immediately, otherwise they are liable to be impounded. Licenses can be had from any of the Wardens.

Otepopo, 28th Feb., 1865.

IMPOUNDED

on the 1st day of March, 1865, by William Taggart, for trespassing on his premises, Commercial Stables, Rattray-street, Dunedin, one Light Grey Mare, branded N.G. on near shoulder, switch tail, owner unknown; and in default of being released, the above grey mare will be sold by auction at the Public Pound, North Dunedin, on the 24th day of March, 1865, at 12 o’clock noon.

IMPOUNDED on the twelfth day of March, 1865, by Constable Hugh Nickle, for trespassing on Great King-street, Dunedin, one Chestnut Gelding; no visible brands; star on forehead, off hind foot white, switch tail, owner unknown; and in default of being released, the above Chestnut Gelding will be sold by auction, at the Public Pound, North Dunedin, on Friday, the seventh day of April, 1865, at 12 o’clock noon.

THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between the Undersigned as Drapers and Storekeepers, at Hampden, Moeraki, under the Firm of Fisher and Krakour, has been this day dissolved by mutual consent. The business will in future be carried on by the undersigned, M. Krakour, on his own account, to whom all outstanding debts are to be paid.

1 to 2 insertions inclusive, 4s. per inch per insertion
3 to 5 insertions inclusive, 3s. per inch per insertion
6 to 11 insertions inclusive, 2s. 9d. per inch per insertion
12 to 23 insertions inclusive, 2s. 6d. per inch per insertion
24 to 35 insertions inclusive, 2s. 3d. per inch per insertion
36 insertions and upwards, 2s. per inch per insertion

Advertisements to ensure insertions, must be left with the Publisher not later than 2 o’clock on the day previous to publication; but short advertisements will be received up till 4 o’clock.

Any person desirous of obtaining the Advertising Sheet, will please leave his address at the Superintendent’s Office. No charge will be made for the said Sheet, or for the delivery thereof. Any irregularity in the receipt of the Advertising Sheet should be reported at once to the Provincial Secretary.
