PROCLAMATION.
Closing Roads in Anderson’s Bay District.
By His Honor, Thomas Dick, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
THOMAS DICK, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in this behalf by the “Anderson’s Bay Road Lands Ordinance, 1864,” proclaim and declare that all those roads and all those portions of roads situate and being in the Anderson’s Bay District, in the Province of Otago, mentioned and referred to in the said “Anderson’s Bay Road Lands Ordinance, 1864,” and which are particularly described in the Schedule hereto, shall from and after the day of the date hereof, cease to be public roads or thoroughfares, and shall no longer form part of the roads in the said Anderson’s Bay District.
Description of portions of Road to be stopped up.
1.—27 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Anderson’s Bay Road to water’s edge in the Harbour of Otago; bounded on the north by sections 10, 11, and 12, block III, Anderson’s Bay District; on the south by section 75, Town District.
2.—39 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Anderson’s Bay Road on section 9, block III, to Tomahawk Road at section 8, block III; bounded on the north by sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and part of 8, block III; on the south by applications 318, 24, and 7.
3.—5 chains in length, 60 links wide, from Tomahawk Road to east end of section 8, block III, Anderson’s Bay; bounded on the north by part of section 8, block III, Anderson’s Bay; on the south by Government Reserve.
