NOTICES

NORTH-EAST VALLEY ROAD DEVIATION.

WHEREAS it is intended to stop up a portion of a certain Road situate and being in the North-east Valley District, and which is hereinafter described and is delineated on the map or plan referred to in the "Northern Trunk Road Lands Ordinance, 1864," a copy of which map or plan is deposited at the Public School in the said district. Now therefore I, James Paterson, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the "Northern Trunk Road Lands Ordinance, 1864," do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of the said portion of road, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objections they may have to the stopping up of the said portion of road, and to leave such statement, addressed to me, at my office in Dunedin, or at the Police Office in the said District, within sixty days from the date hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.

Description of the Portion of Road in the North-east Valley which the Superintendent is empowered to stop up.

18 chains in length, 60 links wide, from New North-east Valley Road, at its junction with District Road between sections 39 and 41, North-east Valley, to New North-east Valley Road, at south-eastern angle on section 45, North-east Valley; bounded on the south-east by sections 42, 44, and part of 46; north-west by sections 41 and 43, North-east Valley.

Dated at Dunedin this fifth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.

BLUESKIN ROAD DEVIATION.

WHEREAS it is intended to stop up a certain portion of the Road situate and being in Blueskin Bay District, and which is hereinafter described, and is delineated in the map or plan referred to in the "Northern Trunk Road Lands Ordinance, 1864," copies of which map or plan are deposited at the Post Office, Public School, and Police Station in Blueskin Bay District aforesaid:β€” Now therefore I, James Paterson, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf by the "Northern Trunk Road Lands Ordinance, 1864," do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of the said portion of Road, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well grounded objections they may have to the stopping up of the said portion of Road, and to leave such statement, addressed to me, at my office in Dunedin, or at the Police Office in the said District, within sixty days from the date hereof, otherwise such objections will not be considered by me.

52 chains 55 links in length, 1 chain wide, from Boundary Line between sections 38 and 36, block II, North Harbour and Blueskin, to Northern Trunk Road on section 37, block II, North Harbour and Blueskin; bounded on both sides by sections 36 and 37, North Harbour and Blueskin.

Dated at Dunedin this fifth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.
