LUNATIC ASYLUM. Applications for the Office of Keeper to be made to the Provincial Treasurer (by letter) till the 9th January, 1864.
Salary, £150 per annum.
TO THE INHABITANTS OF HAMPDEN AND VICINITY.
A PUBLIC MEETING of the Owners and Occupiers of Land and Householders in the Township of Hampden, and the adjoining localities, will be held in the premises of Mr. John Young, Hampden, upon Wednesday, the 13th day of January, 1864, at half-past 6 o’clock p.m., to take the steps required by the 12th Section of the Education Ordinance, 1862, for the establishment of a new School or Educational District, and for the election of a School Committee.
The proposed Educational District of Hampden will comprise Blocks 1 and 2, Moeraki District, Block 1, Otepopo District, and the Townships of Hampden and Moeraki.
