Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Albury School (3273) Board of Trustees
Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the Albury School (3273) Board of Trustees.
- The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:
a. All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise). - The board will retain its primary duty of care as a person conducting a business or undertaking, under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, above and beyond all functions, powers and duties of this limited statutory manager.
This notice takes effect on the date of publication.

Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the Hillcrest School (2856) Board of Trustees.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:
a. All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise);
b. all functions, powers and duties of the board in curriculum management including teaching and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise); and
c. all functions, powers and duties of the board to establish policies and procedures (whether statutory or otherwise). -
A limited statutory manager must also advise the board on the following matters:
a. Board communications (whether statutory or otherwise); and
b. financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise). -
The board will retain its primary duty of care as a person conducting a business or undertaking, under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, above and beyond all functions, powers and duties of this limited statutory manager.
This notice takes effect on the date of publication.

Under section 78M(7) of the Education Act 1989, (acting under delegated authority) I hereby revoke the notice of direction to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Heretaunga College (251) Board of Trustees (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 10 December 2015, Issue No. 135, Notice No. 2015-go7227).
This notice takes effect on the date of publication.
