Notice of Approval Given Pursuant to Section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004
Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 (“Act”), I, Gina Tiare Butson, Senior Solicitor, give notice that, on 27 July 2016, the Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, and the Honourable Margaret Mary Barry, ONZM, Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Act, in relation to section 161 of the Act, for Te Papa Tongarewa to acquire, through a subsidiary established for the purpose, a shareholding of up to 6% in businesses participating in Mahuki, Te Papa Tongarewa’s innovation hub.
This approval is for the period 27 July 2016 to 30 June 2017.
