    • 1 from Maritime Rule 47.8(2)(a) – Load Lines – Owner’s and master’s obligations – Section 1 – Ships of 24 metres or more in length – Owner and master must comply with and ensure compliance with this section and the provisions of Articles 2, 3, 7, 10–15, Annex I and Annex II of the Load Line Convention
    • 1 from Maritime Rule 49.6(1) – Ships’ Lifting Appliances – Thorough examination of ship’s lifting appliances and loose cargo gear by a competent person
    • 2 from Marine Protection Rules 122.4(1)–(2) – Marine Protection Products – Oil – Oil filtering equipment – Applies to ships of 400 gross tonnage or more, approval by the Director, and designed to ensure any oily mixture, which is discharged into the sea after passing through the system, has an oil content not exceeding 15 parts per million
