Electricity Industry Act 2010
Notice of the Electricity Industry Participation Code Amendment (Pivotal Supply) 2014

Pursuant to section 38(3)(b) of the Electricity Industry Act 2010 ("Act"), the Electricity Authority ("Authority") gives notice of the making of the Electricity Industry Participation Code Amendment (Pivotal Supply) 2014.

The amendment comes into force on 17 July 2014.

The amendment:
(a) requires participants making offers and reserve offers under Part 13 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 ("Code") to observe high standards of trading conduct; and
(b) deems a participant that meets three specified requirements to have observed a high standard of trading conduct; and
(c) amends the definition of "undesirable trading situation" in Part 1 of the Code to clarify that the amendment does not affect Code provisions relating to undesirable trading situations. -
A copy of the amendment and the Code is available on the Authority’s website www.ea.govt.nz/code-and-compliance.

A copy of the amendment and the Code may also be inspected free of charge or purchased from the Electricity Authority, Level 7, ASB Bank Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington.

Land Transport Management Act 2003
Revoking a Section of State Highway and Declaring a Section of State Highway — State Highway 76, Christchurch
Pursuant to section 103 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the NZ Transport Agency gives notice with effect from 1 July 2014 that:
(a) The section of new road described in the First Schedule is declared to be State Highway 76; and
(b) The part of State Highway 73A described in the Second Schedule is revoked.
First Schedule
Part of State Highway 76, commencing at the intersection of Curletts Road at RP 11/0.04 and extending in a generally westerly direction to the intersection with the Main South Road at RP 11/7.37. The length of road to be declared State highway is approximately 7.33 kilometres.
Second Schedule
Part of State Highway 73A, commencing at the intersection of Blenheim Road and Curletts Road at RP 0/0.00 and extending in a generally westerly direction to the intersection of Main South Road and Carmen Road at RP 0/3.61. The length of road to be revoked is approximately 3.61 kilometres.

Revoking Sections of State Highway and Declaring a Section of State Highway — State Highway 1N and State Highway 39, Waikato
Pursuant to section 103 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the NZ Transport Agency gives notice with effect from 10 July 2014, that:
(a) Parts of State Highway 1N and State Highway 39, described in the First Schedule, are revoked; and
(b) The section of new road, described in the Second Schedule, is declared to be State Highway 1N.
First Schedule
Part of State Highway 1N, commencing on the south side of the State Highway 1N/State Highway 1B roundabout in Taupiri at RP 519/7.40 and extending in a general southerly direction to the western side of the Horotiu interchange at RP 533/7.49. The length of road to be revoked is 14.13 kilometres.
