Reappointments to the New Zealand Artificial Limb Service Board

Pursuant to section 28 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the Minister for Social Development has reappointed

George Reedy, of Wellington

to be a member of the New Zealand Artificial Limb Service Board for a term of three years commencing on 15 May 2014;

Professor Richard Sainsbury, of Christchurch

to be a member of the New Zealand Artificial Limb Service Board for a term of two years commencing on 15 May 2014; and

Paula Tesoriero, of Wellington

to be a member of the New Zealand Artificial Limb Service Board for a term of three years commencing on 1 September 2014.

Maritime Transport Act 1994

Notification of Speed Uplifting Under Part 91 of the Maritime Rules

Pursuant to Rule 91.20 of the Maritime Rules, made pursuant to the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Bay of Plenty Regional Council hereby grant a permanent uplifting of the speed limit prescribed by Rule 91.6(a) and (b) on the stretch of the Kaituna River between the confluence of the Mangorewa River to the first set of rapids 12.5km upstream of the confluence, subject to these conditions:

(a) This change is restricted to commercial operators operating under Maritime Rule Part 82, provided that they also hold a relevant resource consent from Western Bay of Plenty District Council, its successor or delegated authority.

(b) The speed uplifting applies only from 9.00am to 5.00pm inclusive.

(c) The five knot speed limit still applies 50m either side of the Maungarangi Road bridge.

(d) The five knot speed limit will apply on the first Sunday of each month.
