Animal Welfare Act 1999

Issue of Code of Welfare: Dairy Cattle (Notice No. MPI 349)

I hereby give notice that, under sections 75 and 76 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, the Code of Welfare: Dairy Cattle is issued on 12 June 2014, being the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette, and comes into effect on 13 June 2014, being the day after the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette.

This notice amends the Animal Welfare (Dairy Cattle) Code of Welfare 2010*.

The amendment is available for inspection free of charge or for purchase at the office of Animal Welfare, Regulation and Assurance Branch, Ministry for Primary Industries, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace, Wellington or by post to PO Box 2526, Wellington 6140.
