Electricity Industry Act 2010

Notice of the Electricity Industry Participation (Transitional Provisions for New Metering Arrangements) Code Amendment 2013

1. Pursuant to section 38(3)(b) of the Electricity Industry Act 2010, the Electricity Authority ("Authority") gives notice of the making of the Electricity Industry Participation (Transitional Provisions for New Metering Arrangements) Code Amendment 2013.

2. The amendment comes into force on 24 May 2013.

3. The amendment amends the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 ("Code") by inserting transitional provisions to assist with the implementation of the Electricity Industry Participation (Metering Arrangements) Code Amendment 2011.

4. A copy of the amendment and the Code is available on the Authority’s website
   www.ea.govt.nz/act-code-regs/code-regs/

5. A copy of the amendment and the Code may also be inspected free of charge or purchased from the Electricity Authority, Level 7, ASB Bank Tower, 2 Hunter Street, Wellington.

Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996

Notice of Intention to Apply for Approval of Code of Practice

Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("HSNO Act"), the Environmental Protection Authority gives notice it intends to apply for approval of amendments to the code of practice HSNOCOP 14 Filling of Below Ground Petrol Tanks by Pumping.

This code provides a consistent process for the operation of filling below ground petrol stationary tanks by pumping.

The code sets a means of compliance with:

• the requirements of clause 35A(b) of Schedule 8 to the Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004 (as amended).
