Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996

Declaration of Special Emergency (Notice No. MPI 157)

As the Minister for Primary Industries, I declare the adverse event of the presence of West Indian Drywood Termite (Cryptotermes brevis) found in Auckland to be a special emergency until 31 May 2015, under section 49B of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996.
