Road Realignment—Unformed Road at 215 Karakariki Road, Whatawhata, Waikato District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Natasha Pollard, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in the Waikato District Council;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 560797 on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Declared Road and Severances Taken and Amalgamated With Adjoining Lands—Sisson Drive, Papanui, Christchurch

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Kerry McPhail, Land Information New Zealand, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 114(1), the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired and declared to be road and is vested in the Christchurch City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 119(1) and (2)(a), the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is taken and shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 237468, subject to:

(i) the right to make and maintain a drain culvert or sewer over part in favour of the Christchurch City Council created by Transfer 85493; and

(ii) the right to drain water in gross over part in favour of the Christchurch City Council created by Transfer 469844.

(c) Pursuant to sections 119(1) and (2)(c), the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice is taken and shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 599663 and shall vest in the Crown for education purposes, subject to:

(i) section 59 of the Land Act 1948 (affecting part);

(ii) right (in gross) to convey electric power over part in favour of Southpower Limited (now Orion New Zealand Limited) created by Transfer A355032.1; and

(iii) the right to drain water, right of way, pedestrian right of way and access and maintenance, all in gross, over parts in favour of the Christchurch City Council created by Easement Interest 9081654.11.
