following effect was passed by the council on 18 September 2012:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said district in an estate in fee simple for a botanic garden and public recreation grounds and described in the Schedule shall be and the same is declared to be gazetted a recreation reserve and, pursuant to section 16(2) of the Act, is deemed to be classified for that purpose and further, pursuant to the powers conferred on it by section 16(10) of the Act, declares the said reserve to form part of Pukekura Park, so named hereto in this notice."

Declaration That Land is a Local Purpose Reserve to Form Part of Pukekura Park

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth District Council hereby notifies that a resolution to the following effect was passed by the council on 18 September 2012:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said district in an estate in fee simple for charitable purposes and described in the Schedule shall be and the same is declared to be gazetted a local purpose (community purposes and recreation) reserve and, pursuant to section 16(2) of the Act, is deemed to be classified for that purpose and further, pursuant to the powers conferred on it by section 16(10) of the Act, declares the said reserve to form part of Pukekura Park, so named hereto in this notice."
