Acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education under section 101(7) of the Education Act 1989, I approve Monday 30 May 2011 as the closing date for voting in the first elections of parent representatives and a staff representative for Ormiston Senior College Board of Trustees.

I also approve Tuesday 7 June 2011 as the date for the first meeting of the board of trustees.

Revocation of Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Taupiri School (1987)

The notice of direction to appoint a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees of Taupiri School (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 20 March 2009, No. 36, page 965) is hereby formally revoked.

The appointment of the limited statutory manager will be no longer operative from 24 March 2011, as the Secretary for Education has exercised her authority under section 78N(3) of the Education Act 1989 and dissolved the board of trustees of Taupiri School.
