Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to sections 338(1) and (3) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule below is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of the members of Ngāti Kahu, Ngāti Tahuora hapū of the Ngāiterangi Tribe.

All that piece of land situated in Block I Te Tumu Survey District and described as follows:

Redefining the Persons or Class of Persons for Whose Use or Benefit the Māori Reservation is Made

Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the persons or class of persons for whose use or benefit the reservation is made, as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 4 March 1971, No. 17, page 366, in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby redefined to be for the common use and benefit of Tūhoe whānui under the authority of Ngāti Haka/Patuheuheu and the Waiohau whānau.

Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the persons or class of persons for whose use or benefit the reservation is made, as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 August 1971, No. 61, page 1648, in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby redefined to be for the common use and benefit of the iwi of Ngāti Tahu.

Setting Land Apart as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1)(b) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court to set apart the flagpole area of 48 square metres of Lot 2 DP 3040, being general land, as a wāhi tapu to be known as Manutahi Reservation for the purpose of gathering the Returned Services Association dependants and family.
