Accordingly we are seeking input and feedback on the current code.
The current code is available on the Department of Labour’s website
www.dol.govt.nz
It is intended that the reviewed code would apply to the forestry industry with other key stakeholders including the transport sector.
Interested parties are invited to comment on the proposed code.

Intention to Review the Approved Code of Practice for Forestry Operations (1999)
Notice that the Secretary of Labour has asked the Minister of Labour to review the code of practice pursuant to section 20(1)(a) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.
The current code sets out a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for the health and safety practices for the safe handling, transportation and erection of pre-cast concrete.
There is an industry working party that is reviewing this current code and the outcome of this review will be to either review this Approved Code of Practice for Forestry Operations (1999) or possibly incorporate the material from some of the other Forestry Approved Codes of Practice.
We are seeking input and feedback on the current code.

Intention to Review Helicopter Logging – Approved Code of Practice – Part 4 (2001)
Notice that the Secretary of Labour has asked the Minister of Labour to review a code of practice pursuant to section 20(1)(a) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.
The current code sets out a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for the health and safety practices for helicopter logging.
The likely outcome of this review will be to revoke this code and to incorporate the necessary sections into the Forestry Operations Approved Code of Practice (which is also being reviewed).
Accordingly we are seeking input and feedback on the current code.

Notice that the Secretary of Labour has asked the Minister of Labour to review the code of practice pursuant to section 20(1)(a) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.
The current code sets out a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for the health and safety practices for power-operated elevated work platforms.
There is an industry working party that is writing a Best Practice Guideline and the outcome of the review of this current code is likely to be to revoke it once the Best Practice Guideline is published.
Accordingly we are seeking input and feedback on the current code.

It is intended that the reviewed code would apply to the construction industry.
Interested parties are invited to comment on the proposed code.
