Notice of Revocation of Approved Animal Identification System (Notice No. 1653)

Pursuant to section 50 of the Biosecurity Act 1993 and Regulations 8 and 9 of the Biosecurity (Animal Identification Systems) Regulations 1999, I give notice of revocation of the following approved animal identification system:

AgriQuality Animal Identification Scheme (also known as AgriTags™) administered by AsureQuality Limited (formerly AgriQuality Limited).

This notice modifies the Notice of Approved Identification Systems for Bovine Tuberculosis Control (Notice No. 1571) published in the New Zealand Gazette, 7 December 2006, No. 167, page 4839.

Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Raphael House Rudolf Steiner Area School (133)

Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Raphael House Rudolf Steiner Area School Board of Trustees because of the risks to the operation of the school.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are vested in a limited statutory manager:

• All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise);
• all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions powers and duties of the board to manage communications (whether statutory or otherwise) relating to the areas of financial operations and employment.

The limited statutory manager must also advise the board on consolidating all new and improved systems into board management practice.
