Pursuant to section 150(4) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the Crown Health Financing Agency gives notice that it has published its annual report for the financial year ended 30 June 2009.

Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006

Notice of Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2010)

  1. The Board of Drug Free Sport New Zealand has made the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2010) (“2010 Rules”) under section 16 of the Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006.

The 2010 Rules amend the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2009) and incorporate revised World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards.

  1. The 2010 Rules incorporate by reference the following World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards:

(a) World Anti-Doping Agency The 2010 Prohibited List International Standard;

(b) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions, effective 1 January 2010;

(c) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Testing, effective 1 January 2009;

(d) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Laboratories, effective 1 January 2009; and

(e) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information, effective 1 June 2009.

  1. The 2010 Rules and the material incorporated by reference can be inspected free of charge during normal working hours at Drug Free Sport New Zealand, Level 2, 321 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland.

  2. Copies of the 2010 Rules and material incorporated by reference can be purchased from Drug Free Sport New Zealand, Level 2, 321 Great South Road, Greenlane, Auckland.

Electricity Act 1992

Notice of Recommendation and Assessment Concerning the Electricity Governance (Availability and Reliability Index Measures) Amendment Rules 2009

  1. This notice of a recommendation and assessment concerning the Electricity Governance (Availability and Reliability Index Measures) Amendment Rules 2009 is issued by the Electricity Commission (“Commission”) pursuant to section 172E(2)(c) of the Electricity Act 1992 (“Act”).

  2. The Act provides that, no later than 10 working days after making a recommendation to the Minister of Energy and Resources (“Minister”) concerning the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“Rules”), the Commission must publicise the recommendation and the assessment completed under section 172F of the Act.

Recommended amendment to the Rules

  1. On 27 November 2009, the Commission recommended that the Rules be amended by adding the availability and reliability index measures to the Rules as a new Schedule F6A of Section VI of Part F.

  2. The recommended new schedule comprises a series of index measures prepared by Transpower New Zealand Limited (“Transpower”) that show the availability and reliability of each category of interconnection branch, or shunt asset and of the HVDC link. Each year Transpower must publish and provide to the Commission an annual report on the availability and reliability of each interconnection asset, against the index measures.
